On April 20, 2009 we sponsored the Fourth Grade Class for the Black Stallion Literacy Project Live Horse Event at Barton Coliseum. The students each received their own copy of "The Black Stallion". They then attend the Live Horse Event where the characters from the book come to life before their eyes.
