On November 24, 2009 members delivered Dictionaries and Thesauruses to the Third and Fourth Grade Classes at Belwood Elementary. They also brought the books our club donates weekly in honor of our speaker.
On December 16, 2009 members handed out the "I Like Me" books to the Kindergarten class. These books feature personalized stories about each child. They teach the students about sharing, listening and being a good friend. This is the first year we have participated in this project. On this day we also delivered 15 backpacks for the school to give to students who didn't have one.
